About
HBCU Glow Inc. is a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides scholarships and other resources to students enrolling in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Our mission is to empower and support HBCU students to reach their full potential both academically and professionally. With that we have set up a book scholarship to provide financial support to students so that they can purchase textbooks, school materials, and other resources that they need to succeed in their studies.

HBCU Glow has been in the making for over 10 years and is headquartered in Greenville, SC. It is founded and organized by South Carolina State University alum, Shanna Kennedy as a way to continue giving back to her community. As a social impact leader, she is dedicated to eliminating barriers that face minorities by creating a brighter future for student and the HBCU community.
Shanna's 15+ years of experience in higher education, partnership development, strategic planning and program development in the public and non-profit sectors have shaped her views on how she serves her community.She is dedicated to creating a brighter future for the HBCU community.

HBCU Glow is a nonprofit organization that aims to bridge the gap between college students and the books they need to succeed. We are committed to awarding book scholarships to minorities in order to help them reach their academic and professional goals.
We are dedicated to leveling the playing field in higher education by providing a platform for students to get access to the resources they need to thrive. Our book scholarships are tailored to meet the needs of our unique population. We are proud to be a part of the movement to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of these students.
Our Vision
HBCU Glow is an organization dedicated to providing book scholarships to students at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Our goal is to help 5,000 students by 2025. We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our youth, and making sure that they have the resources they need to reach their potential.
We are a non-profit organization and rely on donations to help us reach our goal. We believe in giving back and believe in our vision of helping the next generation of leaders succeed. We invite you to join our endeavors.
